Most K-12 libraries have MARC data that has originated from many sources, accumulated over time and been touched by many hands. Records that contain structural errors, inconsistencies, outdated content, duplicate records, etc. will hinder circulation efficiency and result in materials sitting on the shelf instead of in kids’ hands.
