The Library is Going to the Dogs!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session you will learn the power of having a therapy dog in your library. We will offer you two perspectives from an elementary site and a high school site from two different districts in NE Wisconsin. We will discuss the process for getting a dog certified as a therapy dog, how therapy dogs fit with library programming, and tips and tricks we’ve learned throughout the process. We’ll also share resources if you would like to contact a Therapy dog handler and dog team to come visit your library.
