Finding the “right” books for each student can be difficult when you have a print collection of more than 15,000 titles. Based on the concept of subscription boxes, the Book Bounty program allows library staff to select books personalized to each student’s interests while also providing the incentives to patrons. The goal of the program is to reach out to students who do not normally come to the library as well as students who frequently visit the LMC. Topics covered include: What is Book Bounty? What is Inside a Book Bounty Box? How do Patrons Request a Book Bounty Box? Assembling Book Bounty Boxes Promoting the Program Funding the Program Ordering Supplies Lessons Learned Benefits of the Program Sharing Materials, Google Forms, etc. to Help Others Start Their Own Program
