I was a high school social studies and English teacher for the last 7 years in Nebraska (Louisville, Milford), China, and Chicago. I also worked part-time for the Papillion-Lavista Community Schools tech department during their 1-1 role out. I recently completed my master's degree in Learning Design and Technology at Stanford where my work focused on using peer feedback to improve formative assessment pedagogical practices. I now work full time on Short Answer, a peer feedback tool for 3rd-12th grade classrooms, that grew out of that coursework. I also substitute teach in Louisville Public Schools and volunteer as a learning engineering ambassador with The Learning Agency.
